Welcome to Oastlers School, and thank you for your interest in our school and our community.

It is a real privilege to lead Oastlers as Headteacher. Having been part of Oastlers since we first opened, I feel very fortunate to already know our school, our learners and many of our families so well. I understand what makes Oastlers special and the high expectations we have for every young person who is part of our community.

We are a specialist school supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. At the heart of our approach is being trauma-informed. We understand that every learner has their own experiences and challenges, and we work hard to provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where they can flourish.

We believe that strong relationships, high expectations and a focus on the whole child are key to helping our learners achieve. Alongside high-quality teaching, we provide the individual support and therapeutic approaches our young people need to develop emotionally, socially and academically.

I am incredibly proud of our school and the dedicated staff who make Oastlers such a special place. We look forward to working closely with our learners, families and wider community, and to welcoming you to Oastlers.
